What is a Health Coach?
The American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA) defines a health coach as a professional who guides clients toward achieving their wellness goals by helping them make sustainable lifestyle changes. This includes areas like nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep, and behavior change strategies. Rather than prescribing one-size-fits-all plans, health coaches empower clients through education, motivational interviewing, and habit-building techniques, helping them take charge of their own health. They often work alongside healthcare providers, bridging the gap between clinical advice and real-life implementation. In short: a health coach is a partner in your wellness journey, helping you navigate change with purpose and accountability.

What Makes Our Personal Trainers Different?
Our fitness trainers are not fly by night trainers. They have dedicated their life and their career to being fitness specialists and health educators. Most have spent years training in the specialty they have chosen so they can teach and educate you, the public, to be the healthiest person you can be. Additionally, our personal trainers travel to you making health and fitness convenient fun and truly personal. Whether you have no equipment or a full gym in your home we can train you just the same. As seasoned and skilled fitness professionals we come with our own tools when necessary to get the job done efficiently, effectively and with a smile! We're here to improve your life and will do everything we can to make it happen.
What is virtual personal training?
Virtual personal training is a combination of many virtual personal training and health coaching methods. We will provide workouts plans to follow, we watch & guide you through your training via Zoom, Google Meet, or other video streaming services to ensure proper form, and you have the option of watching a class of ours. If our schedules don't mesh for live classes it's not a problem as we will film a session for you to follow along with (this is an added cost but still an added option if warranted). We will also work with you on a nutrition plan via our app and you also have the option of food delivery via Trifecta (shipped anywhere in the US). We'll guide you on what diet style to follow (we recommend DNA testing for a personalized determination) for your goals and give you the knowledge for continuing on your own.
How long does it take to see results?
We can only control so much. We will guide you every step of the way but the results will depend on how committed you are and how well you adhere to direction and behavioral change. That said we've had clients lose over 100 lbs. in less than a year. We beleive slow and steady wins the race to better health so a good guide to follow is 1 - 2 lbs. per week with the initial 2 weeks possibly losing 5-12 lbs. due to water loss.
